Dans le cadre du programme RUN Sea Science, l’IRD organise en coordination avec ses partenaires (l’Université de La Réunion et le Conseil Régional) un séminaire sur deux jours intitulé : « Les défis en sciences marines dans un océan en mutation : comment la recherche et le développement peuvent contribuer aux attentes sociétales dans le sud-ouest de l’océan Indien ».
